Emily Leppert is an Executive Vice President of East-West and oversees the firm's acquisition and asset management programs. Over her decade-long career, Ms. Leppert has participated in a broad spectrum of real estate activities, including asset management, ownership, investor relations, and bond structuring for both single family and multifamily projects. Prior to joining East-West, Ms. Leppert served as Senior Vice President for Domain Communities, an asset management company located in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Domain, Ms. Leppert managed the operations, acquisition and dispositions of a multifamily portfolio valued at nearly $200 million. She worked as a liaison between the divergent worlds of non-profit owners, institutional capital partners, and professional real estate managers.  During her tenure, Ms. Leppert successfully completed the restructuring of a ten property, multi-state, multi-investor, $75 million tax-exempt revenue bond issuance. Ms. Leppert has also served as an Investment Analyst with INCA Capital, a privately held real estate investment company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this position, Ms. Leppert managed and underwrote the acquisition of a land bank portfolio consisting of single family properties in Arizona, California and Texas. The land bank portfolio experienced tremendous growth during her tenure, expanding from four properties valued at under $20 million to thirty-one properties valued at over $180 million. Ms. Leppert is a member of the Young Leaders Group at the Urban Land Institute and earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Economics from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
